Johanna’s love for numbers goes back to childhood when she received a Fisher Price cash register for her 4th Birthday. Her aptitude for numbers led to a career in accounting for a broad range of organizations including not-for-profit and an awesome waterslide company.

To the untrained observer she is a professional accountant but those within the inner circle know her quirky, amusing and unreserved persona. Her favorite pastimes are water sports, advanced downhill skiing, and advanced traveling...you never know what part of the world you might meet her.

    Time is one of the most important commodities that we have. But we are bombarded with more tasks than we can keep up with and often times the most important things in life are shifted to second place just out of necessity.     If you are having trouble staying on task there are several techniques available:

    • Do the thing you loathe first. Sometimes by getting your most dreaded task out of the way you will enjoy the rest of your day.

    • Each day set a timer for 10 minutes and perform as many repetitive tasks as you can in those 10 minutes.

    Mortgage - With mortgage rates not able to retreat further than low tide now is the time to refinance with a lower rate. Make sure to check that the penalty for ending the higher rate mortgage is not more than the interest rate savings over the term of the mortgage.
