However, do not make the mistake of making many fluff pages that have little meaningful content for site users.
By splitting up long articles, you can also reduce the loading time of web pages, which is still an important factor for good search engine rankings.
Check to ensure that your onsite navigation is intuitive and allows users and visitors to quickly find the content they desire. You will get more return visits if your site is easy for people to use.
Be sure to note that if you do create pages that target more than one search query, use keywords that are closely related to each other. In this way, you have less chance of confusing the search engine. In fact, you can use Google’s Keyword Tool or other similar free software to find related phrases for any search term. By using related terms or synonyms of keywords, you increase the chances of the search engine understanding the page’s topical focus.
Achieving high rankings without paying proper attention to onsite SEO is unlikely, so you should definitely pay attention to this area of search engine optimization! Use targeted keywords in all elements of the web page including the URL, title tag, meta tags, image tags, multimedia tags, page headers and in the text content.
However, do not make the common mistake of overloading your pages with the same keyword. Use the keywords naturally and substitute synonyms to avoid the appearance of spam.
